Hey Steph! I loved your first paragraph about the walk through the school. It reminded me of what Josh said the other day about how diverse our school was as he walked down the hall! At least I think it was Josh who said it…
Anyways, great post! I agree with you when you said that in some people you see almost all positive qualities, while in other people you see hardly any. I believe that really is subjective to whatever your opinion may be. What is a good quality to one person (being responsible) may seem like a bad quality to another person (goody two shoes). Like you said though, the more you get to know someone, they better you get to understand what qualities they have. Like the saying goes, don’t judge a book by its cover.
I really enjoyed your One Tree Hill clip! It really goes along well with the theme of human qualities, and how we all have them, even though they might not be apparent. Brooke knew that she had all the qualities necessary to be a good mother, but the adoption agency representative didn’t see those qualities. (At least, not until the end of the show when Brooke gave her a piece of her mind! Yay Brooke! :))

Great entry, Stephanie, I think it is one of your strongest! I love that you go beyond mentioning what qualities humans possess, because they will basically be mentioned in every B30 blog entry for this topic. Instead you talk about how humans use these qualities, namely to relate to others and help people out in trying times. It is more important to mention that qualities are shown everyday, and how they are applied to various obstacles people encounter throughout their life.

Age, gender, and race doesn't determine which characteristics you possess or decide to show. I feel the ability to care and feel compassion for one another is a quality that defines us as humans, and should never be underestimated.

By the way, that One Tree Hill clip is one of my favourites! Keep it up my good friend :)
